Beyond sitting at my keyboard, I also spend a rather hefty chunk of my time lighting, shooting, and even colour grading. I like to think the visual storytelling I've learned over the ten years I worked behind the camera has made me a better writer, but I don't have the peer reviewed papers to prove it. Not yet, anyway.
